[SOLVED] Best Uninstallation procedure on ArcoLinuxB

Post by victorhcardoso »

I am new user of ArcoLinux.
I am enjoiyng a lot the OS, but a I have a doubt.

Since many softwares come pre-installed in ArcoLinux B, what is the best way to uninstall the softwares I do not use?
What is the best way to uninstall these softwares completely (without leaving any trace of them)?

Thanks a lot in advance!

As far as I know, the action "pacman -Rsn <name>" will surely remove all the files,

We created ArcoLinuxB so you do not have to install software you do not want. Or uninstall software later after installation.

The idea is to select what packages you want and then Build/Burn the iso hence the B.

IF you delete the software you do not want and add the software you do want you get an ArcoLinuxB that is 100% to your liking.

Great I hope more people find their way to ArcoLinuxB.

It gives you all the freedom to put anything you like on the iso.

And what is left you put in a script you run after a clean install.
