[INFO] How to benchmark your system?

Post by erikdubois »

We can get an rough idea how good or how bad our hardware performs on Linux (or other operating systems) by testing them and comparing them with other hardware.

One example website to learn more is this one

https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-benchmar ... nux-system

I have choosen to use geekbench as it will provide me points on my system, a url that is uploaded to their website and then I can compare with other hardware out there.

Here are other benchmarks on ArcoLinux.

Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google
then use the power of our moderators.

Good benchmark for system is memtest that ware sometimes available with bootables, if it could just have system for HDD.

Processor is not that of an issue, if you've got fast memory it can talk a lot without fast processor.
