[OPEN] Suspend/lock screen Issue

Post by rlocone »

Hello All,

I've done a clean install into my system. I'm having issues with it not behaving well after returning from either a locked or suspend screen.

ISSUE: Lock screen will not unlock or be presented. The only way I can do anything is using another console TTY. I'll attempt to 'pkill' the user and for the session to close. I'll login and it just hangs. I'll return to the other TTY and reboot. I've had this same issue with other distros like Manjaro.

Thanks for your time and attention,

What iso or desktop are you using?

I would check the settings of the desktop.

I have installed ArcoLinuxB deepin and it just wakes up after hours of inactivity.

I would look for the specifics of your hardware - Arch linux and then your name of the computer or brand.

Some have a unique page on the Arch Wiki
