Since the last update, Conky manager does not open conkies, and psensor doesn't open either, Tried reinstallation of both, no difference. This is on my HP Laptop and HP Workstation. Info below is HP Workstation. Do I need to make some change somewhere, or did the update break them?

Tom . . .

I'm not sure about "psensor", but my conky manager and conky toggle stopped working after that update. When I ran conkyzen in a terminal, it generated a message that a particular file was not found -- "libXNVCtrl.so.0", which apparently was related to a recent update of some package associated with Nvidia cards.

I found this topic on the Arch Forums: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=248123

Based on what I found there, I uninstalled and then reinstalled a package called "conky-lua-archers" and that solved the conky problem, even before a reboot.

There might be other factors in your case, but that's what worked for me. Good luck.

Thanks Allan! That worked. psensor is a community program to monitor temperatures. I hope I can find a 'cure' for that problem, too. Thanks for your help!

Eric,
Sorry, I was waiting for a cure for the psensor problem, but the next update fixed everything and I forgot to come back and change this to SOLVED. I appreciate your timely attentiveness to the problems brought up in the forum.
