[CLOSED] Installation Encrypted doesn’t work

Post by fhins » Sun Apr 14, 2019 3:30 pm

I’m installing ArcholinuxB Plasma “arcolinuxb-plasma-v19.04.4.iso” on my second hard drive. I currently use Antergos KDE on my first hard drive. I’m choosing the encryption via Arcolinux installer. I get the following error message when I try to reboot after the installation is completed:
Grub loading.
Welcome to GRUB!
error: no such device: b5ae7f6c-51fc-43b2-a52e-269e5d3e08c8.
Error: unknown filesystem.
Entering rescue mode…
grub rescue>

I reinstalled without the encryption the second time, and it works fine without the encryption. How ever I can’t use an OS that is not encrypted for security reasons. So there is a problem with the Archolinux system encryption.

Any idea why I’m getting this error. Needless to say that my Antergos KDE hard drive which is also Arch based is encrypted and it works beautifully.

Encryption does not work yet with Calamares.
