[INFO] Some ground rules to keep it fun to be here!

Post by darknetmatrix »

1.No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately. A user account will be deleted if demonstrably created for the sole purpose of posting spam message(s). These accounts show links to commercial websites in the signature and/or personal website field, with little or nonsensical forum participation.
2.Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and/or placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.
3.Respect other users. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after a warning is issued by moderators.
4.Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for deletion from the forums.
5.Adult content. No profanity or pornography is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.
6.Bandwidth. All images must be 'unobtrusive'. We do not fix the number of pixels. Posts containing over-sized images on a 1920x1080 screen will be removed. Images will be uploaded to image hosts. Forum code will be used to refer to images.
7.Illegal content. No re-posting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted.
8.About politics and religion. This forum will not tolerate any political and religious beliefs, we are here to discuss ArcoLinux.
9.Search Before Posting, search the ArcoLinux forums and Google for questions before posting. As the forum search function is very limited, you should consider searching the net with Google, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo or your favorite search engine.
10.New Questions Deserve New Topics, do not add new questions to existing topics, start your own instead! This will make it easier for other members to provide support. This includes hijacking, do not ask unrelated questions in a user's existing support topic. Do not resurrect support topics older than 6 months, outdated information can cause issues with newer releases.
The administrators of this board are not responsible in any way for consequences of any sort arising from following links to 3rd-party resources and websites placed on this board.
The administrators are not responsible for user-generated content which infringes upon the rights of third parties or which is illegal, according to Belgian law. The administrators and moderators will however take action to remove and prevent the repeated posting of such content as soon as any issue in that regard comes to their notice.
12.Post your question in only one subforum; pick the most relevant, and post there.
13.When responding to an existing thread, always read the original post and attempt to focus on the original topic.
14.Finally, when a solution is found, mark your thread as solved by editing the first post and prepending the tag [SOLVED] to the title in the "Subject" field.
Note that you should avoid using [CLOSED], which is instead used by the system to mark a thread which is no longer accessible for new posts.
15.If a thread is marked as [SOLVED], do not reply stating the equivalent of "I am having a similar issue.."; start a new thread and link to the [SOLVED] thread, if relevant.
