I seem to have an update issue.
When I try an update I see the following:
installing spdlog-git (1.14.1.r6.ga3a0c9d6-1) breaks dependency 'libspdlog.so=1.13-64' required by waybar-git
Doing a bit of a google around I see that this issue seems to have arisen before, the solution so far seems to be removing waybar, doing the update and then re adding it again. This seems a bit drastic: is there a better way?
[SOLVED] Waybar.git update issue
This will work, however
When I did this it completely broke my install. I could not open firefox, kitty, discord, etc without a crash.
I had to downgrade hyperutils-git, hyprland-git and wayland-protocols.
If you are going to update use --ignore to not update these packages

I've been putting off the update but followed this advice and it was all fine. I'll exclude that package from future updates for the time being.
Many thanks
BTW: should I be changing the topic to include "solved" now, or after spdlog.git starts updating OK again?
