I'm on ArcoLinux with Hyprland. I've installed Heroic Game Launcher. I launch my game and I am able to play the game just fine. However, when I pause the game, switch to a new workspace, turn off my monitors, and go do something else for awhile, when I return to my PC, the game is no longer at the pause screen. It's not open at all. It's like the window self-closed after a certain time. If I pause the game, switch to a new workspace, and continue using my computer, I can come back to the game workspace, unpause, and continue playing without issue. Anyone have any idea why the game is self-closing?

But I would not trust Hyprland at all.
Test it on Xfce and see what happens.
Hyprland is experimental not suited for your workpc or in this case gamepc.

I've already tested this using the bspwm version of Arcolinux and it doesn't self close. So yeah, probably Hyprland related. I really like Hyprland so I'm willing to live with this quirk. Thanks.
