If it is ok with you guys I am going to document my pursuit of the least amount of steps to create an iso out of my existing Arcolinux system that can be done over and over like keeping a snapshot of the system that you can just reinstall if you need to .
I will start by using the archiso method of getting the base down and then adding pieces to get the complete iso.
I'm not sure if this is even possible to do.
I got the idea from using MX linux and they have this tool called "snapshot" that does this.
I don't think their code can be used on Arch so that is why I am starting this way.
I will also be using the following help from this link:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2092886

I may have questions along the way. I am not an expert in any of this but am learning as I go.
If anyone has suggestions I will be glad to hear them.
Thanks
Dan

First Attempt got this error:
[mkarchiso] INFO: Creating a list of installed packages on live-enviroment...
error: config file /etc/pacman.d/arcolinux-mirrorlist could not be read: No such file or directory

That is because I used my pacman.conf and I didn't copy over the arcolinux mirrorlist.
I will do that and run it again.

Need to copy pacman.conf from my running system
Need to copy arcolinux-mirrorlist from my running system

Edit1:
This didn't work because I got all kinds of signature errors and couldn't eliminate them.
I am going to have to rethink this process.

Today a new look at this project.

In searching for videos to help me with my project I decided to look at carli.
This looks like I might be able to apply the carli project into my project.

What I was planning on doing is creating an iso snapshot of my current system and keeping it to revert back to if I needed it or use it to install it on a different computer.

I think making the iso with the installer included is a great thing.

What I need to figure out is how to get my settings and files and user from my current install into the carli build.
I will be working on that next.
Hope this saves me some time.
if this process works it might be helpful to others I hope.
