Hello everyone,
I'm new to the ArcoLinux community and I'm facing a problem since a few days when installing from a live USB (I've read the main articles about UEFI / bios configuration as well as formatting the USB stick).
Every time I try to run the installation from grub of ArcoLinux I get an error :
'Unkown TPM Error
Unkown TPM Error
Unkown TPM Error
Failed to load /arch/boot/x86_64/vmlinuz-linux' (3 times the Unknown TPM Error and then the other one)
I tried flashing my USB stick (using BalenaEtcher) first with ArcoLinuxS and then ArcoLinuxB to see if it depended on the ISO (both of which were checked)
I then checked the USB stick via another computer and found that the required files were present.
I checked the BIOS settings and confirmed that Fast Boot and Secure Boot were disabled.
Thinking that my stick was faulty I decided to flash it and install other systems ( Garuda Linux, ArchCraft and Axyl OS ) which installed without any problems.
I wonder if this is a problem with my hardware (Asus R556URK laptop) or if I missed some important steps. (I have already read the topic 'MustRead vmlinuz-linux).
XL and XS
Thank you for your help

Just google the error "unknown tpm error arch linux"
and try to understand what is going on
but first download the isos and test those - they are 2 hours old if that much...

Thank you for your quick response.
Unfortunately the flash of the ISOs did not give anything functional. I got the same errors:
'
Unknown TPM Error (3x)
You need to load the kernel first
'
I'll have to do some more research and will get back to you as soon as possible.
Best regards.

Then there is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... omments/13 which has similiar steps to resolve the `tpm error`IIRC Grub made this error non-fatal, but let's try to make sure:
In Grubs Menu press c to enter the console.
In the console enter rmmod tpm
Press Esc
Boot your desired entry.
Edit.
I guess you already tried disabling TPM in the UEFI settings.
