I'm a beginner in linux and I have trouble with English so it's not easy for me. Here is my problem:
After installation and configuration everything worked perfectly. At startup the system defaults to wayland. I'm using an MX Ergo trackball and all of a sudden it works very badly, I can't move the cursor the way I want. It slows down or stops. After a restart of the system it's the same except that the display is passed I think in X11 and since nothing works correctly under wayland or X11. I try to watch your videos Erik but not understanding English I am lost. :?: Is there a solution to fix these issues?

Deepl is great for translations.

Let us start with giving us a probe link.

Type "probe" in a terminal and send us here the link.

You are on Wayland KDE.

Stop using Wayland and login with X11 and report back if it is working now.

Yes Erik, I know deepl but a lot of crow-translate which avoids opening my browser to do a translation. I put it on autostart (it's always in my taskbar). plus it does OCR. a very excellent program.
No on X11 the problem is the same as with wayland. I send you the link. ok I will try your solutions if I do not succeed I will do another installation. Thank you again for answering me because I have already learned several things and frankly I don't want to leave Arcolinux...

Try another mouse.

It might be the mouse - broken - no driver - bad connection for wifi/bluetooth

hook up a mouse with a cord and test again

What changed, you mentioned your device all of a sudden stopped working correctly - were there any updates recently installed ?
Have you tested on different kernels .e.g. Linux-LTS ? Or a different desktop environment entirely.
I guess you have already looked through the Plasma System Settings > Input Devices and configured the device through there.

As an additional note, you could try looking through: https://gitlab.com/khaytsus/mxergo and see if there is anything of use.
