my main laptop is a XMG Fushion 15 with the following specs
  • Intel Core i7-9750H | 2.6 – 4.5 GHz | 6 cores/12 threads | 12 MB cache | 45 watts
  • 2x DDR4 SO-DIMM, Dual Channel, 32GB
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti | 6 GB GDDR6
  • 2x 1x M.2 2280 SSD via PCI-Express x4 (supports RAID 0/1) 2x 500GB Firecuda
  • 15.6″ Full HD IPS | 144 Hz | Thin Bezel | non-glare | 90% sRGB
  • Optomechanical keyboard with per-key RGB backlight, silent switches
the XMG can also be found under following names (it is a collaboration with Intel) In Europe
  • Eluktronics Mag-15 in the US
  • Vapor 15 in Down Under
I installed the Arco Linux onto the XMG Fushion 15 this week. I am familiar with Arch Linux.

My 2nd laptop for a project I am using a
  • Lenovo ideapad C340
it has an
  • Intel Core i7 10th generation
  • 16GB RAM
  • 1x NVME
  • 1x SSD
  • Intel Iris Graphics
  • it is a two in 2 unit with touch screen
I am using that one as my only Windows 11 computer in my house for rare occassions, like installing firmware on my ebikes or using Windows powershell
I did install Arco Linux Budgie DE onto it yesterday late evening on the SSD to be my "I have to go to the office one a week" system and it works great. just one small flaw the lock screen feature is not working with lightdm.
