[SOLVED] ISO v22.06.07 installs ISO v21.09.11
Hi
I have a strange problem with iso ArcoLinuxD v22.06.07.
Everytime I choose a DE in the advanced setup, it keeps installing ISO v21.09.11 - ArcoLinuxB-Plasma..
What is going on.
Best regards rxijen

Re: [OPEN] ISO v22.06.07 installs ISO v21.09.11
I have a ventoy USB stick with the ISO on. Then I boot into the ISO and install what I need from the advanced menu, in this case XFCE4, and other nedded software. (Also tried different DE, same result.) - Basically a normal install.
No error in the installation log, then I reboot into SDDM and can only choose plasma as the session.
If I check the ISO command it tells me that ISO is a different version than the one I choose.
The iso is downloaded from: https://sourceforge.net/projects/arcoli ... rcoLinuxD/
MD5: 2754838a4b83937f424a49b4af41885a
Right now im trying to make a new ventoy usb - to see if it corrupted.

Looking at the md5 you downloaded this one
arcolinuxd-v22.06.07-x86_64.iso
as you should have.
Downloading it myself via torrent now.
How/why do you think it is v21.09.11?

This is all you need to know the version of the iso
The content of /etc/dev-rel
and nothing else
it will never change
why should it?
It is a reference to the iso you used to install the OS.

Re: [OPEN] ISO v22.06.07 installs ISO v21.09.11
Because, when I run iso in the terminal before the installation I get the right iso version, and after installation, it say v21.09.11. I will make a video, that proof that. Stay tuned.erikdubois wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 6:43 pmLooking at the md5 you downloaded this one
