Hello Erik. I wait too long when I do a system update or try to download a package. maybe 5 maybe 15 min. i have the same problem when i do it from terminal or with add/remove software. It usually happens in aur and extra packages. I was getting a signature error, I solved it with fixkeys. in short when i try to download package or update i wait for a very long time. I somehow solved the problem. I dropped the kernel first. to LTS 15. Then I download the packages that I will download from the aur through the terminal with the yay command. I do system updates only with update. Everything is okay right now. I upgraded the kernel back to the latest version.
