[OPEN] Program not working properly

Well I'm back again with a new problem and don't really think Arcolinux is at fault. The real reason I got into Linux is that I do Astrophotography for a hobby and the best photo processing program for that runs best on Linux. Called Pixinsight. It works fine on all other distros but for some reason some of the functions (which are essential) will not work on Arcolinux. I've tried the pre built ISOs and none will work so I know I'm not doing something wrong building the ISO. I've spoken with their tech support but no help there. It doesn't really make sense to me why this is happening but wonder if you have any ideas how I might track down the problem. As I said before I'm getting fairly comfortable with Linux but still have a long way to go before I would consider myself "experienced". I really love Arcolinux and want to use it as the daily driver but it has to work with that program. All other Arch based distros will run the program fine.

No help from anyone? Couldn't get any from developer either. Guess it's back to vanilla Arch. oh well...

the bin produces an error - tried everything for 30 minutes

Oh, I didn't mean you! I meant the (or one of) the developers of Pixinsight. The program may be thirteen years old but if you purchase it it's constantly updated, the last being about a month ago. I don't know what to do.
