Hello,

I have a problem not to be able to aktivate Bluetooth on my PC. By the way, in the Live-Enviroment it was working properly.

I installed Acro with the Gnome Desktop. My PC is a Acer Aspire S24-880 with a build in Intel-Combi-Hardware Wifi/Bluetooth.

The Bluetooth is always turned off in the Settings and cannot be turned on.

The following things I checkt till now:
rfkill list
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
1: hci0: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no

systemctl status bluetooth
● bluetooth.service - Bluetooth service
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: active (running) since Tue 2021-12-28 12:15:03 CET; 2h 24min ago
Docs: man:bluetoothd(8)
Main PID: 807 (bluetoothd)
Status: "Running"

Memory: 2.1M
CPU: 24ms
CGroup: /system.slice/bluetooth.service
└─807 /usr/lib/bluetooth/bluetoothd

Dez 28 12:15:03 heimpc bluetoothd[807]: Bluetooth daemon 5.62
Dez 28 12:15:03 heimpc systemd[1]: Started Bluetooth service.
Dez 28 12:15:03 heimpc bluetoothd[807]: Starting SDP server
Dez 28 12:15:03 heimpc bluetoothd[807]: Bluetooth management interface 1.21 initialized

/etc/bluetooth/main.conf
[Policy]
AutoEnable=true

What can I do more to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance
Peter

Hello Erik,

just an update to this problem. It seems it is related to the current kernel. I switched to the LTS-Kernel and now the Bluetooth is working.

Regards
