Post by xenmry » Fri May 22, 2020 2:19 pm

I would like to ask if i can remove apps using the GUI ?

i was trying to remove some of the default applications installed on GNOME but it seems the remove button under software - installed apps were disabled.
i would like to know if there is easiest way to un install applications ?

sorry i'm just new to linux.

1. in terminal

sudo pacman -R
sudo pacman -Rs

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/pacman

2. in gui - pamac

select what to remove
asterisk in system panel - bottom right of your screen
Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google
then use the power of our moderators.
