[OPEN] How to build a Pure KDE

Post by iliealot79 » Fri Feb 01, 2019 9:51 pm

Is it possible to remove all Arco specific enhancements /theming/ applications?
Loved how fast i was able to install an Arch based DE.
Thanks,

hmm I think i did that but it messed with Pacman.conf and i lost the mirror list.
Also how to identify packages that are part of enhancement and not really the core OS. In the KDE spin there are lot of gnome /gtk apps that I am trying to identify and remove.

It is a trial and error move.

You can distinguish the must have apps when you compare a ArcoLinuxB-Plasma and ArcoLinuxB-Plasma-Minimal

The mirrorlist is important if you still want to have arcolinux packages.

If you do not ... delete the lines in /etc/pacman.conf
