[OPEN] SSD reading speed too slow

Post by bielgeets » Mon Nov 05, 2018 6:20 pm

Hi,
I installed the plasma-version of Arcolinux on my old PC (MB: Intel DQ35JO ; CPU 8400).I noticed that reading speed (with hdparm and with gnome-disks) is only 133 mb.(SSD is Crucial BX500 120 Gb).
I did partitioning with Gparted ,first time with MBR and second time with GPT structure. In both cases the reading speed was only 133 mb.Then ,when ArcolinuxB was already installed,I booted with several bootdisks (Sabayon,Manjaro ,Mint..) and each time speed was aprox. 290 Mb.
Can someone tell me why the installed Arcolinux-KDE gives only 133 Mb reading speed?

See if deleting this file changes anything...

/etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf

Make a backup before doing so.

No luck , reading speed stays unchanged at 133Mb.
