[INFO] Black screen after booting up

Ofcourse there can be thousands of reasons why this would happen but here are some solutions that have worked for others including myself.

1. go to TTY ( ctrl + alt + F2) - then update your system and reboot (arch-root into your system if TTY is not possible - see arcolinuxd.com)

sudo pacman -Rs xf86-video-intel

- remove this package and reboot (or install the package if it is not there)

3. Remove any and all nvidia drivers on your computer and reboot

4. Move from lightdm to sddm with an alias -

tosddm

and reboot

5. Change your kernel - downgrade a kernel or switch to linux-lts kernel
