We will investigate.

The menu is part of your theme and of the lua code.

We will get back to you.
Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google

could you provide us with a screenshot for what exactly you are trying to get rid of?
it's not exactly clear and would help us understand the issue better

in your rc.lua you have to create a rule to get rid of the title bar. under awful.rules.rules like this:

Code: Select all

-- Titlebars
    { rule_any = { type = { "dialog", "normal" } },
      properties = { titlebars_enabled = false } }

that will make all windows > titlebars_enabled = false
but i just want titlebars > disable only in google-chrome

try a rule like this:

for chromium:

Code: Select all

{ rule = { class = "Chromium" },
  properties = { titlebars_enabled = false } }
for google-chrome:

Code: Select all

{ rule = { class = "google-chrome-stable" },
  properties = { titlebars_enabled = false } }

you can use xprop to get the exact name of the application
