[SOLVED] Unable to change sardi icon color

As you know, our distro uses the Sardi and Surfn icons. Here you can apply for an icon if it is not yet available. Do not expect miracles and wait for your question to be taken into account.

[SOLVED] Unable to change sardi icon color

Post by Brick_Bosworth » Thu Feb 15, 2018 1:58 am

Wasn't sure if I should post this on the Facebook group or here.
I have watched the tutorials that I could find on this, but whenever I try to
run the script everything comes back as No such file or directory.

It all depends what you do and where you do it.
So start by describing all the steps you take or make a small video about it on youtube with simplescreenrecorder.
Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google

Copied Sardi Flexible and moved it to my .icons folder. Ran the command in the terminal and got the same output.
This time when I checked the folder though it worked!

So that is solved

In your home folder ~/.icons you can do whatever you want.
You can write to the svg's when running the scripts.

I am in the process of making the sardi icons even better...
After upgrading Sardi --- tutorials will follow showing the flexibility (scripts) and modularity of Sardi.
