i have a good idea for arcolinux

but if its possible i dont know , i am not a master developper in arch

I try to explane in english so good i can..

first off all i have seen that script working so good from the developper of makululinux ,how its done i dont know but its fantasico.

let say you install from arcolinuxd xfce , if its done you have the standard xfce out of the box , but after some weeks that xfce wil be not the same anymore , you have change it to your likes ..

but what if you have a script in arcolinux that can set back to that distro to the way it was if you install it with 1click .
that script in makululinux run in the terminal , logout and bam your xfce is clean again from the day you have build it lol.

however i think it was never released by makululinux , i have try to search that video but can not find it .

Something to think about.

We do have clonezilla to clone ssd to an other ssd. Back to the start.

We do have timeshift to put back the way it was.
I would say try out the latter first. Have not tried it yet for a full system. Just the home folder.

I think I heard you say/write that on EB on youtube.

deja dup is very good , but that works abit differents
example let say you have in your home folder by mistake deleted your photo map , than its all gone..
but deja dup have the power if you have make a backup to put it all back ,from a single backup , and what it do , is alot.
1/every setting on arcolinux wil be back to what you have done , like in firefox , themes ,icons or whatever .
2/i have tested and i have deleted some icons in .icons (homefolder hidden) i have deleted some nice weblinks in chrome , and after the backup that i have set back it was all there again , however , if you install clone from deepin it can be done , but first you must make a clone from your clean arco install , deepin clone can set that default back .
however i have not tested this in arco , but wil take alook at that... but i dont need deepin only that deepin clone appz.
