simple solution

install via terminal and say Y if they ask a question

Reason : Deepin requires two packages and these two conflict with other packages for other Desktops
Nothing we can do about that - Arch Linux must have a reason to do it this way

Well, thx for your motivation @Eric. Still testing around to find the best matching DE with ArcoLinux.
Deepin is quite near for me, while Budgie is clean, slim and neat. Having both on hands by choice at a single install is quite interesting.

I tried to install Budgie from pamac, but it requested to de-install 2 Deepin packages, so I stopped it. I guess using terminal wouldn't do it any other way, which may also have got the basic deepin a little instable in my last try. Still wondering about how Tweak Tools managed to install it in my last attempt. If I remember right, it installed a huge part of Gnome desktop to get it running.

Didn't you state using Arch is a steady learning process... :P

It depends on the sequence

first install deepin
then the rest

they will get errors but will run anyway

With 20.4. relase it worked now to install Budgie destkop with TweakTool on ArcoLinux B Deepin DE.

What I found out, I had to de-install catfish first, otherwise I always got error that it isn't compatible with synapse/zeitgeist (which wasn't installed anyway).

BTW, on Fedora, the system remembers the last DE to start with. Any chance to get such in the next built?

We know that this happens.
You get a summary when you press the yellow splash button on the arcolinux-welcome app
