[SOLVED] clock time

Its configuration is entirely mouse-driven, with the configuration files hidden from the casual user. Xfce does not feature any desktop animations, but Xfwm supports compositing.

[SOLVED] clock time

Post by kartub » Wed Aug 08, 2018 6:45 pm

i tried changing the local time using ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo
during installation i had set a different timezone
the time in the bottom panel still hasnt changed, the properties of the clock in the panel seems to have a blank filled in the option for timezone.
and manually entering a timezone isnt changing it.
any solutions?
thanks in advance.

to change local time zone try

Code: Select all

sudo timedatectl set-timezone Zone/SubZone
or

Code: Select all

sudo ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Zone/SubZone /etc/localtime
change Zone/SubZone to your time zone
