[SOLVED] USB Flashdrive fails to disconnect

Post by isolde » Mon Apr 30, 2018 7:29 pm

After trying to eject a USB Flashdrive from a Lenovo Thinkpad running ArcoLinuxD i3, 6.6.1, I get
a notice that, it could take a while to disconnect the flash drive, the notice never goes away. I wait 2 minutes to pull out the flashdrive.
5-10 minutes later I get a notice that it failed to disconnect the flashdrive. I unmount the drive first, then,
eject. If I try to eject without unmounting it is the same result. Anyway to fix this? Thank you for your attention.

First format the usb with our accessory and try again.
Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google
and only then use the power of our moderators.
