[OPEN] Sudo Command Freezes Terminal

Post by xanadu73 » Fri May 15, 2020 2:50 pm

Hi everyone,

I've got an issue if I may ask. That is:
When I switch to sudo by typing "sudo -s" I got the "root@hostname" screen but it is frozen and I cannot type anything. Paste & copy functions don't work either. This is regardless of the terminal I'm using (xfce terminal or termite, it wouldn't matter)
Adding the "sudo" prefix to the desired command works, but I nevertheless believe this is a bug.

Thank You.

The flagship responds normally.
We go from a $ to a # in the prompt and i can type commands like install packagages without adding sudo to it.

Test it out in the future on a clean install.
