yes and i have downloaded ubuntu and burn it on my flash driver and will see in live iso if i have the same resolution problem

well idk how can i check that i'm new to linux so i only know the basics but when i run the xrandr and reboot that was the only option DP1
(both are samsung idk if that help)

Well tried 2 live iso and same problem stuck at 1024x768 and i have reset my screen settings and

ubuntu 18.04 and old archlabs v5 and if u mean which monitor my default one not the TV screen

indeed can you change it there in the OSD of your monitor
normally there is a reset also

so we will stick with enforce the resolution with xrandr and the conf file in xorg
