Re: [OPEN] Install Nvidia drivers, but how
gparted needs something else.
You mean this page:
Together we go over some of the websites that contain information about Nvidia.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NVIDIA
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/hybrid_graphics
https://arcolinux.com/category/arcolinu ... al/nvidia/
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/
Together we select the correct package and download it.
Then we install
sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers optimus-manager-qt
and so on?
But it says Hybrid graphic card!
link to "probe"

The procedure matters not the name.
Here is another article not for hybrid computer systems.

Re: [OPEN] Install Nvidia drivers, but how - GP104 [GeForce GTX 1070]
Inxi -b cut off your name of the card
in probe I could find it GP104 [GeForce GTX 1070]
Check the videos how to learn to look it up yourself.

Re: [OPEN] Install Nvidia drivers, but how
Sorry, this is no help to me! The videos are all in English, I can't translate them, but a manual, written as a command line for the console, can.
I'm afraid that's it for me with ArcoLinux!

Re: [OPEN] Install Nvidia drivers, but how
See the article - it is all written out
The problem is Nvidia on Arch Linux and maybe on other Linux distros right now.
Hopefully better support will follow in 2021.
Glad I have an intel gpu. No issues.

Re: [OPEN] Install Nvidia drivers, but how
Well, after 2 hours of searching, correcting the entries in the command line and starting the installation of the Nvidia driver, I finally got an error message that the driver installation failed!
That was it for me! In every Linux distri I have installed so far, even Arch based ones like Manjaro, the Nvidia driver has worked!
Unfortunately, this is a no-go for me. Many thanks for your help, in vain. Good by.
