I wonder if you need to run script 150 in ~/.bin/main.

Try that out.

That is what changed on our iso in the past.
No network discovery anymore.
How is that done?

OK, thanks, I have installed Manjaro on it for now to see what is different and why the printer works on Manjaro and not Arco. I will reinstall AL over the weekend and see if we can sort this out, something is definitely broken in ArcoLinux.

It is not broken - I believe it is the last package I mentioned.
Hope you give me feedback because if it is I will put that package back on the iso.

Clean install of the latest iso.
I ran update first.
Then followed tutorial 781.
Print test page was a success.
Working as advertised and now performing pksyua.
Life in ArcoLinux is good again thanks for the cure.

Question, why would this script have been removed in the first place, many of us have wireless printers??
Cheers

I agree removing those packages was not smart - had to do with Samba back then and security reflections.

Back then it made sense - now not so much anymore

The packages from script 150 and its services are now in the package list again.

If you build ArcoLinux today you will have no issue with that anymore nor in next release v19.02
