[SOLVED] Is there a graphical installer in Arch Linux

Post by rooty » Fri Feb 08, 2019 4:49 pm

Hi, after 4 failed attempts, finally soloed the damn arch installation. Using KDE atm with some plasma stuff I picked up from youtube.

So officially have ArcoLinux on Laptop, ArchLinux on Desktop and Manjaro at work. Lovin' it!!!

However now that im "Lego"-ing my way in Arch, was wondering if there is a GUI Package Manager app that I can install via pacman? And maybe a link to steps? Cant find anything similar to, lets say, the Software Installer / Updater which I setup in Manjaro. Think it was pamac.

Thanks for the help.

ArcoLinux uses pamac-aur.
There is also octopi.

Both can be installed with an AUR helper like trizen or yay

Code: Select all

yay -S pamac-aur
trizen -S octopi
No aur helper ???

But first use the power of the Arch Wiki

then use the power of google
