[INFO] LXQt: Delete qt5ct for Theming

Post by flexid2000 »

Erik loves dark themes, others don't. But if you try to get rid of the default dark theme in ArcoLinuxB LXQt you're in a predicament. Nothing changes, the dark theme is preserved whatever you configure. After endless fiddling I found the culprit, it was qt5ct which is installed by default. You have to get rid of it in order to change themes.
The LXQt developers clearly state 'you don't need (and should not use) qt5ct under LXQt'. The lxqt-qtplugin does the job and better it does. Source: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/issues/1368.
