[SOLVED] Update broke pamac-manager

Post by Fluxxx » Mon Dec 02, 2019 11:48 pm

Yeah, this one is definitely my fault, but I have no idea how to fix it. Long and short, did an update in the terminal, got asked a number of 'do you want to replace this' questions, and I answered yes figuring they were upgrades. Well, pamac-manager no longer launches, though when I try through the terminal I get 'error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.11: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory' So, never had that happen before, so what'd I break, and how do I fix it (at least the system booted, wouldn't be the first time I broke that)?

Always search for your error code

it might be on the forum already

Thanks, didn't think to search for the error, but pamac-manager, which oddly didn't bring up that thread.
