[OPEN] macbook pro 2010 installation
I have a macbook pro 2010. I have arcolinux.iso in a usb. I boot up the macbook , press option key and select EFI. I choose from the menu the first line "arcolinux". The screen turn black and thats it. I have installed manjaro, linux mint without any issues. I will appreciate your help thank you.

Yes I have text. At boot up I have:
Arcolinux x86_64 UEFI CD
UEFI Shell x86_64 v1
UEFI Shell x86_64 v2
EFI Default Loader
macOS
I choose "Arcolinux x86_64 UEFI CD", after that I get the black screen and no text.

I have installed Linux Mint, Ubuntu and different versions of Manjaro.I also have burned the USB with rufus and etcher.

have you tried installing an older version of ArcoLinux
If that is working we can compare
The best application to burn the iso to usb is etcher if you are not on ArcoLinux.

you create the iso today - you need to have an arcolinux or archlinux to be able to do it (other pc?)

I have tried different versions and flavors of arcolinux (xfce, kde, openbox, cinnamon) and can't install arcolinux. Next week I will try install it from an external CD and let you know. Thanks for your help. Here my macbook specifications:
