[SOLVED] Error detected while loading xmonad configuration file

Post by Unist-A »

Hello Everyone
After installing Arcolinuxd xmonad (20.06) by scripts today, I stupidly forgot "xmonad --recompile" with its consequences at reboot. No problem, I go in the "tty2" and I execute... but at the exit, the command tells me:
"XMonad will use ghc to rebuild, because "/home/xxx/.xmonad/build" does not exist. Error detected while loading xmonad configuration file: /home/xxx/.xmonad/xmonad.hs
<no location info>: error: can't find file: xmonad.hs"
could it be a script error or a mishandling on my part?
Thanking you in advance for your possible help,

Bien à Vous

Maybe you still need to copy/paste the content over from /etc/skel to ~/.config

Type this in terminal

Code: Select all

skel
and

Code: Select all

sudo reboot
