[CLOSED] Indication of occupied workspaces in tiling window manager panel

Post by eesau »

Maybe there could be some kind of an indication in the panel (in workspaces icons) to show you that there's something open in certain workspaces?

Not the most elegant hack i guess, but i have it like this in my Polybar. I'm on workspace 3 and i've some apps open in workspaces 1 and 2. Blueish background color:

Changed my Polybar conf a bit, now the workspace icon changes color when there's something open.

It is in the todo list to test out and see if we can incorporate it.
