[SOLVED]Update problem

Post by jasonleeg » Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:16 am

Hi, not sure if I'm posting this in the correct section but I'm having a problem updating my system. I'm using Arco 6.9.1 and did full upgrade. I thought this was sucessful, however, I had notification of updates so tried to update these and encountered an error 'Authentication Error.' I refreshed the keys and still the same.
Here is a screenshot

The repositories were sucessfully updated, just packages from AUR that weren't
Any suggestions? Many thanks

Hi, this is how I usually update/upgrade so everything gets upgraded, so I did pksyua again and everything is up to date, then I receive a notification saying 7 updates are available, I select apply, then there is transaction summary I click commit then error message 'Authentication failed' appears almost instantly. Only seems to affect AUR packages.......

Any suggestions?
Thank you

since it concerns aur packages, I would say have patience for a few hours or days, the aur will be updated contineu.
aur-packages have nothing to do with arcolinux.

Thank you for the advice....I've taken a screenshot of the terminal and an unusual error. Maybe this is causing the update problem?

Are you sure that the package is installed on your system?

Hi, came back today and 103 packages to upgrade so typed pksyua and everything updated so this problem has been solved by just waiting. I checked to see if Pacman and the other packages (in your screenshot) were installed and they were.
Thank you darknetmatrix for your help.
