[SOLVED] Update Issue

Post by jasonleeg »

Hi, I've given up with ArcoB Deepin and have installed ArcoB Gnome to replace it and I can't update the system...
I've updated the mirror and Arch / Arco keyring and enter 'upall' in terminal and I get the following error

error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
Error installing repo packages

I've had simillar update issues previously but usually the dodgy package is named and thus can be de-selected and not upgraded but not in this case. I don't know which package is causing the problem so I can't isolate it.

Any suggestions?

I'm using an old i7 pc with kernel 5.7.4-arch-1 and nvidia drivers

Show us the code in the terminal
Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google
then use the power of our moderators.

Pacman does not give us any hint.

Try this in the terminal and update again

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -Scc
Learn, have fun and enjoy.
