delete these lines

and try again

I commented them out. Update works however install attempts return target not found.

Tried yay and it was looking good till this:

I've also installed Awesome and Qtile. I'm in Qtile at the moment (first impression is positive, more than Awesome), and CherryTree installed. It was one of the first things I did. I'll try once more in i3 and failing that I'll reinstall from scratch. Won't be the last time. :) I'll report back about i3. Tout en vous remerciant.

Final report: I scrubbed every cherrytree file particularly the one in the error message, and it installed using yay, and is running. That makes my day, so thanks again. I appreciate the time you've taken.

Unsure what output you're referring to, however I'm struggling with Google Earth Pro, which won't install more stubbornly.
