[SOLVED] Deepin File Manager asking for authentication

Post by Jamesey »

Hi,

Deepin File Manager is now asking for authentication when trying to open file manager from dock, computer icon on desktop, mounted drives and even trying to open a download from torrent client? This has only started recently. Anyone have any ideas? "Authentication is Required to run the Deepin File Manager"

Thanks

Retrace your steps and see what you did.

Ultimately reinstall or install ArcoLinux in virtualbox and see what the differences are.

It is not normal.

Cheers Erik,

[SOLVED] Thunar was also installed but not in use. Just removed it and back to normal. Although it never done any harm before and no changes other than updates done.

Thanks again

James
