Enabling Hefftor new mirrors

Post by pheonix83 »

My packages have moved to seedhost server and i have released a new package on the main repo called hefftor-mirrors-git so lets walk through getting on the faster servers and enabling the repos
So i now have 3 repos
  • hefftor-repo
  • hefftor-apps-repo
  • hefftor-test-repo
To get on these there is a little bit of rooting around but in the end will be worth it.
enable the main repo with the following.

Code: Select all

[hefftor-repo]
SigLevel = Optional TrustedOnly
Server = https://bradheff.github.io/$repo/$arch
then run

Code: Select all

update

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S hefftor-mirrors-git
once that is done and the mirrors package is installed you can edit your /etc/pacman.conf file with the following new repo setup

Code: Select all

[hefftor-repo]
SigLevel = Optional TrustedOnly
Include = /etc/pacman.d/hefftor-mirrorlist

[hefftor-apps-repo]
SigLevel = Optional TrustedOnly
Include = /etc/pacman.d/hefftor-mirrorlist
This will enable you to have both main repo and apps repo on the latest mirrors.

thanks.
enjoy.
