[SOLVED] Cannot boot ArcoLinuxB iso

Post by kawjr »

I am trying to boot from a usb drive i created using the latest and greatest acolinux b iso. I am able to get it to start loading but then the cursor freezes up on the desktop and the screen starts flashing. Keyboad seems to have frozen also. I have to turn it off using the power button.

See that you can boot into the grub menu

it gives you many choices

You can even edit the lines and add things behind it or delete things and try to boot up that way.
But you will need to search on the internet what it is you need to type extra.

First try out all our boot lines first though.

Learn, have fun and enjoy.
But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google
then use the power of our moderators.

Hi,
I think it can be done.

Did you make the necessary adjustments in your BIOS (disable secure boot, AHCI etc.) ? - v

Not sure exactly what I did Erik but i finally got it to install!!! Woohoo!!! :-) I believe it was something in the iso LXQt..... I downloaded Xfce and did not have the issue with the screen flashing or the cursor and keyboard freezig up.. :-) Please close and thank you again!!
