[OPEN] Iso build add AUR third party packages

Post by spnzd » Thu Sep 26, 2019 5:56 pm

AFter the nice videoTut about building your own Iso, i started a session.
I added and commented some software, to make a list i think i want.
the question is about some packages from AUR.

Code: Select all

error: target not found: signal-desktop-bin
error: target not found: enpass-bin
error: target not found: pia-tools
error: target not found: anydesk-5
I deleted them from the list and i got a nice iso build and run.

But is it possible to add them to the list.

Edit i should search first on the forum.

Update:
I got this far, that i understand to make a githup repo. So i did. With Github-desktop. Works nice and easy.
Build the packages from AUR and put them in my github. So far so good.

The next step i don't understand is, before i run the build ISO script, where to put the githup repo (conf), so that the packages from github are getting installed into my new ISO.

Thanks in advance.

I have moved this post to the ArcoLinuxIso forum.

That is linked to this site. There we learn to add how to build an iso from scratch.

https://arcolinuxiso.com/

We will kickstart this project this year.

But whenever I was making something for ArcoLinux that was useful for this project I have put it on there.

I think this is what you need now.

Update progress.

I overlooked the part of editing the nr30 script.
Now i get a better picture how to add the packages. 8-)

adding your repo on the ArcoLinuxB iso.

Add your package to the package list.

We need to run nr. 30 but we need to stop it in time because we need to add our own repo in time.

We go over the code in nr 30 and explain what it will do.

Put the code exit 1 just before the line that contains sudo ./build.sh -v
Then we run script 30 and go to ~/arcolinuxb-build/archiso.
..........
Great, ready for the next steps. Makepkg in chroot to put them on github.
